Hope you had one of these weekends

For the past 16 days I was lucky enough to be in the Netherlands helpin to watch my 3 cousins. And lets just say I am more then happy to be back in my quiet home with my pops, of course.
While I was gone, my pops said he was terribly board so we decided to have a FUN-in-the-German-sun-weekend!

Our FUN-in-the-German-Sun-weekend kicked off Saturday morning with the most delicious breakfast--which included yummy organic french toast w/organic syrup, sausage, & scrambled eggs. (Why I didn't capture the yumminess in a photo one will never know) but boy did it ever hit that spot! You know the spot...

After our scrumptious breakfast, we headed over to the market to pick up all sorts of fruits and veggies. Lucky for you, I took pictures of what we got. Warning: your mouth will water & you will have an uncontrollable urge to try & eat your computer. Trust me. It already happened.
You were warned.

After running here and there grabbing stuff up at the store, that was desperately needed for the house, we decided to go walking in the woods--we have been meaning to do this but something always comes up and walking in the woods is forgotten...till now!
It was a beautiful post rain day! (it was a nice break from all the rainy rainy days)

And look what the rain is doing to our flower garden...

Can't wait for all that growing goodness to be blooming goodness!

Sunday was such a hot day. I felt like I was back in Arizona--ok maybe not that hot but it was hot for Germany & i have been crazy spoiled with it's nice oh so wonderful weather.
Anyway, it was a nice day, despite the heat, that included church attending, bean cooking, bowling playing, bowling losing, & laughter having.

All in all it was simply wonderful...
