my mother is an amazing woman of God and i am blessed beyond words by her presence in my life. she is just about the sweetest person with sass i know!

we had such a wonderful time at the race for a cure here in amarillo bringing awareness to breast cancer. the time we spent with family-my cousin shelly, aunt chris, and my aunts sisters-was beyond fun. poor aimee had to work but was missed terribly!

we have decided racing for a cure is going to be a tradition full of pink fun!

it truly was amazing seeing so many survivors gathered in one place, wearing their pink shirts, sporting their beads with beautiful smiles on their lovely faces.

i can't wait for next year!

(we have a great idea for group shirts-that maybe we stole-which will be hysterical. yes, i am gonna make you wait till next year muahaha muahaha muahaha.)

i am only in the second semester of college, and i'm already over the whole thing.

i don't mean to be a negative nancy but geez Louise already stop with the work.

too much work.

but i guess that's the name of the game.

i do love learning about photography & all that goes along with it though.

which is a lot & the cause of my school stress.

i do want to say, that i am very thankful & blessed to be going to college even though it can be annoying most of the time.

isn't this such a fantastic idea (that i wish i thought of first)? since i don't have kids of the typical nature...maybe my pups will let me do this to them? but i think that will be way too much of a headache to even try & get their "charming" little selves to cooperate.

i'm back...with bells on.

(let's just pretend it hasn't been almost a year since i've been on here last)

i was thinking about deleting my old blog & starting a new one because maybe i was a embarrassed by old posts and what not. then i thought that would be just silly & i shouldn't care so much about what others think & i would regret it. i was going through some of them the other day & could not help but laugh at certain things i wrote. i make me laugh. i was certainly aware i had way too many posts about being a bad blogger, so no more of those posts for me. they are kind of boring & i'm pretty sure no one cares. i'm happy to be back though...it will be fun.

today was such a lovely day.

i was thrilled to wake up to a cold rainy day. i actually got to wear a scarf. i mean come on...that is awesomeness in a bottle, wrapped up in happiness for me.

after church, i went out to lunch with some of my favorite girs & guy to jason's deli for some yummy soup & salad but the soup wasn't hot & that was a bummer. it was still delicious though. bravo to you jason, bravo to you.

after lunch, we went to ulta and had a mini dance party. i couldn't get it on video though, because i was too busy busting out my rad dance moves. mr.drewpy was too funny though...he was getting down to some disco music, then mandy moore came on & the dancing came to a sad, sad end.
but we moved on to hair accessories & drew was picking out all sorts of hairbands for us to try on & then took some pictures of us. i think i found my new photo buddy. his composition is breathtaking hee hee.i love how none of the pictures he took has the hair bands in them except for this one..... i just want to pinch his cheeks!

i hope your sunday was just as sweet.

i think i might be back from my crazy long, unannounced blogging break...
or more like hiatus!

a bunch of interesting, fun, lame, awesome, wonderful, boring, crazy, entertaining, lovely, hilarious, stupid, beautiful things have happened since my last post, which happened to be on thanksgiving day of 2009, and that would have to be one of the lame things that happened since that post-me not blogging.

i may or may not finish up all my posts that are sitting in my box with the label of "draft."

mainly because i just feel bad for them just sitting there all unfinished and such.

we will see what happens. i can't say what will happen to the poor posts but...

i can say this & this is-even though i have been away from my dear blog i have been reading all of yours!! you, blogging peeps, are amazing and i love being able to read about all your amazing adventures! y'all are just lovely...

well, molly & maggie are my sisters but i love them just the same.

baby got back...baby need to go on a diet.

this was an awesome weekend.

i got to see new moon on saturday{more on that later!!}.

& today after church my blister, shelly, & myself went house hunting for my pop.

we saw so many auh-mazing houses.

{it makes me wish i were getting married & house hunting but i can wait for all that goodness. Gods timing & plan for my life is far better then anything i could possibly ever begin to imagine for myslef. that makes me happy to know}

then we went to the park.

i had a blast...it was the perfect ending to an already wonderful sunday.

this slide was crazy scary. please notice that there are no sides to this slide & having slightly bigger backsides, i think that was intended for the slide, made it an interesting experience.

we had such a blast trying to knock each other off this little springy-balancing board. aimee pretty much won. me & shel kept wanting to hold on to her. we failed.

aimee organized some highly competitive relay aces. that included moon walking, zig-zagity running, crab walking, frog hopping, football running, & bunny hopping. it was fun. i loved how aimee wanted to do the crab walking so bad & epically failed at it. it was hilarious.

word to sum up our time at the park & maybe even for this day:

FUUUUUN!

i am going an a diet.

well, my life has been full of all sorts of changes as of late.

so i thought i would do a little recap of the last few months:

*my wonderful 8 month stay in germany came to a bittersweet end.

*i got to visit some lovely friends-that i hadn't seen for quite sometime.

*i moved to texas.

*i now live by tons of family-which is both awesome and crazy.

{if you have a big family...you know what i mean}.

*i am now an official college student.

{never thought that day would come but yay for me}.

*my sister got the "oink oink" flu & i was scared for our lives.

{but don't worry for our lives...she is not contagious anymore}

*i finally found a new church-that i love.

*i'm getting married.

{ok. maybe i just got reality a little mixed up with fantasy...maybe. but yeah, i did}

*i have been catching up on missed t.v. shows like the office.

& that's all i can remember right now but i think that pretty much sums it up.

this is sadness.

there are a million things i will miss about germany {& europe}:
the food.

the scenery.
the houses.

the buildings.

the flowers.
the trees.

the animals.

the road trips.

the manpri.

the people.

the trains.

the fests.

but what i will miss the most is my pops.

he is pretty much the best dad ever & i love him dearly.

i will miss laughing at his funniness, eating the "contraptions" he creates for dinner {inside joke}, going on adventures with him, & his company-he is good company ya know.

oh geez, i will just miss him lots! i love you dad & thanks for all the good times!

i will miss you like crazy cuse lets face it who will i find to take silly photos with me like theses... you're the best!

well my dear blogging friends, i will be away from the inter web for a few days or so. i have a very long day of traveling ahead of me tomorrow, or should i say today. it's midnight & i have to be up by 3:30 in the am-ya i know. anyway, i'm off to the valley of the sun to visit some wonderful, dear friends then we{my mom & step-dad} are headed up to the pan handle for new beginnings there. it should be fun.

while i'm away have wonderfully happy, blessed, adventures, spunky, spicy, magical days!

so, finally here are some polaroids from our trip to mallorca.
they're all mixed up-out of order, but if you don't care then i don't care. & if you don't care then we may just get along fabulously!
i'm really not going to write much. i will let the photos speak for themselves. i think they really don't need much explaining.
i will say this though: i love mallorca & think it was one of the most charming places i have ever been! we all really had a surprisingly good time{surprising because we never heard of this place} but we still love hawaii more. way more. i least i do, i am assuming they{the sister blister & pops} do, too. just cuse i'm speaking the truth.

i hope you all had a weekend full of sunshine before the sun hibernates for the winter...
